We left Spokane on 29-Aug-09 to spend two weeks at Glenn & Melody's prior to leaving for Iraq. We expected to spend most of that time helping Glenn erect his 42'X48' steel storage building.
Our overly optimistic estimate was that we could construct the forms for the below ground footings and foundations, pour the concrete, set up the girders and sheet the roof with tin in the two weeks. As it turned out, we stayed at Glenn's seven weeks and still didn't have all the roof tin on! There are many reasons for this "slow progress". Perhaps the main problem was the schedule in the first place!
Since we left, Glenn has been busy finishing the roof, putting trim on and constructing a "shelf". This shelf will increase the "floor space" by 25%.
